Why I hate flash-based advertisements

I’ll click an advertisement that seems interesting. But the way I do it is by right-clicking it and selecting “open link in new tab.” This way I don’t have to abandon the article I’m reading. This is certainly possible with standard jpeg ads. But with Flash, there’s no “open in new tab” option! Attention CNN and Financial Post: stop using Flash advertisements!
